Aulternatives is a holistic veterinary practice dedicated to providing complementary / alternative medicine to animals of all kinds. While recognizing the importance of conventional veterinary medicine in the emergency treatment of disease and trauma, Dr. Shauna Ault seeks to improve the overall health of your animals through the healing modalities of acupuncture, chiropractic, Chinese and Western herbs, optimal nutrition, and energy medicine, including NAET allergy elimination, and BICOM 2000 Bio-resonance therapy.
An easy way to promote the health of your animals (and yourselves!) is through the use of antioxidants and concentrated, high-quality essential oils (derived from organic herbs). The Aulternatives office is located at 7280 Southside Blvd, in Nampa, Idaho.
**To get here from the freeway (I-84), take the Garrity Blvd exit, head South to the next left at Flamingo Road.
**Take a left onto Flamingo (toward the JC Penney store), then curve right onto Happy Valley Road.
**Follow Happy Valley Rd South for about 7 miles, to Kuna Road.
**At the stop sign on Kuna Road, turn Right.
**Follow Kuna Road 1 mile to Southside Blvd, turn Left.
**Go 0.6 mile (the house numbers don't go in ascending order!), look for the Aulternatives sign on your left. Follow the blacktop driveway up to the red and white house, the office entry is on the left side of the house (as you are facing the house) on the ground floor, in what looks like the 2-car garage.
House and Farm calls are also available. Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
For refills on herbs and supplements, please call at least two days ahead so they will be ready for you, or ask to have them mailed to you (USPS Priority Mail).
